We are open and operating in the new 'normal'. From the outset when reopening on the 8th of June 2020, we have successfully implemented the robust recommended safety measures for dentists issued by our governing bodies which are now very well rehearsed. We will continue to follow strict up-to-date protocols to provide safe and welcoming dental care for our patients Ahead of your visit: When visiting a dentist, face coverings, social distancing and hand washing remain fundamentals not optional extras. Wider changes that took place on Monday 19th of July will have no impact on how the public should approach accessing our services. Please familiarise yourself with some of the key information below. We appreciate some of this may seem a little daunting but these steps are necessary to ensure highest levels of safety for all. - Please make all contact with us by telephone or email and attend the practice if you have pre-booked an appointment only - We will ask you additional questions and it may be necessary for you to fill out a new Medical History form to return to us by email - Before you leave for the practice, have a meal and clean your teeth thoroughly afterwards - Take your medications as normal - Use the lavatory prior to departure - Bring in only essential items/clothing - leave bags etc in the car - Please wear a mask - Please call the practice when you arrive as the doors will be locked. Please remain in your car or outside the practice following social distancing recommendations. We will invite you in when it is time for your appointment - With the exception of children and patients in need of support or supervision, please come alone - We will provide hand sanitiser for you to use as necessary during your visit - Payment should be arranged preferably by cards or over the phone - Where applicable, you will be asked to leave your belongings in the box outside the treatment room - Our team members will be in extra protective equipment but it is still our usual selves underneath! - On completion of your appointment, you will collect your belongings and we will escort you to the exit. Where possible, please relay any additional queries after the appointment by phone or email to minimise your time in the practice - In the interests of public safety, please only attend your appointment if you are feeling physically well. - Please contact the surgery to rebook if in the 14 days prior to your visit you have had: o High temperature o A new, continuous cough or sore throat o Loss or change to your sense of smell or taste or runny nose - If there have been any medical changes since your last visit, please let us know and a new Medical History Form will be emailed over for you to complete ahead of your appointment We look forward to greeting you at our practice soon. All the team at New Road Dental.

Safety of our team and patients has always been our number one priority. We will be happy to rearrange your appointment by telephone or email - Please sanitise your hands on arrival at reception using the gel provided - Please avoid shaking hands with staff or other patients - Reading material has been removed from the waiting area to reduce risk of cross contamination We will continue implementing recommended safety measures as they become available to ensure highest safety for us all.
